ORDERS

Orders must be placed AT LEAST 72 hours in advance of delivery date. We cut the flowers as close to ship date as possible, so this time allows us to make sure you get the freshest stems!

In addition, keep in mind that peonies take 24-48 hours to open up after they arrive, so plan accordingly and order your flower box with ample time for the buds to open. Click here for more information on peony care.

For weekend events, we highly recommend shipping on the Monday prior to the event. The flowers can be conditioned to open slowly in a cooler or rapidly at room temperature in time for an upcoming event. For more information on conditioning your peonies, click here.

For flower boxes and individual varieties, tax is included in price. For our Peony-Inspired gifts, taxes are based on Alaska state and the state of your shipping address. If your shipping state, county, or city charges tax for products purchased from a business based in Alaska state, then you will be charged tax based on those rates. Note that some states charge tax on shipping.

AVAILABILITY

Our short season in Alaska is very dependent on weather and climate. Sometimes the ground is still frozen through June, which delays our season. It's just a part of the joys flower farming above the arctic circle. Unsurprisingly, the peony harvest follows the same pattern as the salmon run in our Cook Inlet.

More often that not we can expect that fresh cut peonies will begin shipping the from 4th of July through mid-August.

We have a very short growing and harvest season in Alaska, so by late August, our peonies are pretty much finished. By September and October we no longer have inventory available.

SHIPPING

We ship all our flowers FedEx Priority Overnight to ensure that you're flowers are delivered before noon the next day.

When ordering, please choose the SHIP DATE. You should expect to receive your flowers the following day. We ship Monday - Thursday for deliveries Tuesday - Friday.

When you place an order, our system will send you an confirmation email. When your flowers are packed and ready for shipping, you will receive another email with tracking info for FedEx.

Sometimes these confirmation and tracking emails can land in your SPAM folder. Please check there first.

All our flowers ship FedEx Priority Overnight. You should receive an email with tracking once the box is packed and ready for shipping. The email will link you to the FedEx tracking page.

Sometimes the FedEx website encounters glitches so the tracking updates are delayed. Once the box has been shipped, we ask that customers get in touch with your local FedEx location to get more information on the location of your package.

At the moment, we are unable to ship internationally outside of US and Canada.

Orders are shipped FedEx Priority Overnight to physical addresses only. Once the order has been packed, you will receive an email with tracking information via FedEx.

We ship Monday - Thursday for guaranteed NEXT DAY delivery before noon in the Continental US + Alaska.
We can ship on Fridays to destinations that offer Saturday service.
Please be sure that someone is available to receive shipment. We are not responsible for shipments left out in the elements.

Each 24” stem is hand cut and packed with care. You will receive your stems with the flower unopened.

Orders are individually processed and packed in a sturdy box with soft padding material and gel packs to ensure that your flowers arrive in good condition.
Peony care instructions are included. It takes approximately 1-3 days for the flowers to full open after they arrive.

PRODUCTS

We do not sell roots or plants, only stems.

Duchess de Nemours and Marie Lemoine show no red flecks on the petals nor golden stamens.

Bowl of Cream is tremendous white but may have a blush tinge. A cold Spring may result in blush tinge which usually fades to white as the flower opens.

We ship each box with a "peony care" instruction card that give you tips and tricks to caring for your new flowers. You can also reference the care instructions here.

You can purchase a gift card here. Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an email with a unique gift card code. To redeem the gift card, enter code in "discount or gift card code" box in cart at checkout.

If you are sending this gift card to a special someone, you can enter their email and shipping info at checkout and they will receive the email code. If you would like to send different cards to multiple people, please make separate transactions.

VISITS

Occasionally we can organize a farm visit. It is usually quite difficult to have a drop in visitor as most farms are working and have tight schedules. Please contact us at alaskabeautypeony@gmail.comFor faster service, please include:
